Licensed Home Inspectors Act
Introduced the Licensed Home Inspectors Act (Bill 165) in February 2016, pushing for mandatory licensing, education standards, and ethics for home inspectors. The Ontario government subsequently drafted its own legislation, and the Home Inspection Act, 2017 passed, establishing licensing, mandatory contracts, and a code of conduct for the industry

During my time as Member of Parliament for Don Valley North, I initiated and worked with Councillor Shelley Carrol together we delivered the Fairview Mall Community Safety Hub.

One year later, crime in the area declined by 39% *. a significant reduction that underscores the impact of sustained presence, partnership and prevention.
Petition e-5331 – Community Safety

I presented e-5331 to the House of Commons, calling on the federal government to establish a federal community safety infrastructure fund to help homeowners and small businesses install security equipment.

Petition e-3960 – Won Alexander Cumyow $5 BILL

I presented petition e-3960, an e-petition signed by 13,822 Canadians calling on the Minister of Finance to select Won Alexander Cumyow – the first Chinese Canadian born in Canada – for the new $5 bill.

Presented two additional paper petitions with 708 and 286 additional signatures.
